……if things do not
happen casually, let's read this passage I liked so much; it is taken from
a book that I am reading…
(location : the protaginist is somewhere in Persia and is the only one
awake by the fire. He's thinking about a conversation he just got with a
shepherd casually passing there, about a princess that both of them have
known, even if in very different and far times one to each other...)
(note: not original
translation)
"…I'm sure it doesn't exist in any place an old woman who has not
inside a child in the bloom of youth. I think that the Princess could see
in the mirror, also when I knew her, the shining eyes, the red lips and
the cane slimness that her suitor could still see, more than half a
century after he left her, as well as he still could feel the fragrance
similar to the shamrock after the rain, the most gentle perfume that God
put on this earth…"
